Often my students seek out inappropriate sensory input. These materials will provide appropriate sensory play and be used throughout the day in the classroom to help students regulate behaviors. My students are continually seeking to balance their sensory needs to help them focus and attend. The sensory materials requested would circulate through three classrooms providing the class with materials that students will be able to earn during breaks in the day by following school rules. The sensory materials will be used during sensory groups, during earned breaks, and when students request a break appropriately as part of a behavior plan.
