Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and gives them the sense of responsibility of choosing the place to learn. Starting at the beginning of each day my students choose a location to sit at for the day. Currently my students choose to sit at different types of tables, chairs, or on the floor using clipboards! Allowing students to have the freedom to choose where they feel most comfortable is important in continuing to keep students motivated and engaged. The items that I have chosen for my students will allow them more options for more effective learning. They will help encourage movement while using wiggle stools to help those students that need to move a bit more. The yoga ball seats also help with those students that need the extra movement. The pack of stools will help encourage collaborating in group work!
