    I want to thank you for supporting my project for my wonderful class of 20 students. After 13 months of fully virtual learning, I am excited to add these manipulatives to my classroom. I look forward to giving my students the opportunity to physically manipulate and build our high-frequency words and phonics focus words. I can’t wait to begin to use this! With all of these fantastic items, I will be giving my students the opportunities to use flexible seating during their independent reading and writing time. While my class is working independently, I can pull some students into small groups to focus on skills that need extra reinforcement. The look on my students’ faces when they get the chance to find a space around the room that works best for them during their independent time is amazing. While fostering their independence, my students will grow into wonderful readers and writers. I will be able to reinforce their sight word bank and work on their decoding skills through word building and phonics activities in a small group or one-on-one setting!

About my class
