Funded Dec 4, 2024As always, the support from you; our donors, means the world to us! Thank you for giving of your resources to fund our project "Zoom Zoom Zoom To My Classroom Room Room!
Through your generous support, we were able to receive classroom anchor charts, a storage cart and organizer, glue gun, a teacher's chair and other well needed resources and materials for our class. Students have been able to conduct science investigations and experiments, projects and assignments using the resources that you have so graciously donated. They come to class each day with curiosity and excitement because they know ponce they walk into their science classroom, there will be something fun and engaging for them to do. This type of learning fosters a deeper level of enthusiasm in our students and helps them to retain more information through scientific and experiential learning.
We are looking forward to your support once more in our latest project as we try to get fans for our classroom. Thanks again for your kindness and best wishes in all your endeavors!”

Funded Apr 22, 2024Obtaining a weather station is a big deal for our school and you made it happen!
Students struggle with the weather unit in fifth grade. Now, students have the ability to not only track weather data in real-time but also have the chance to make predictions.
Later on in the year, students will get the chance to interact with a meteorologist which will only add to their excitement!
We are truly grateful that you took the opportunity to give to our classroom project. We are also truly grateful for the other classroom materials we received which will help our students stay organized as they transition from elementary to middle school.”

Thank you for your general donations of well needed materials for our class. Our classroom is almost fully resourced with materials students will have for the remainder of the year.
Students were able to walk into an organized, attractive classroom on open house which increased their excitement to begin the school year. Once students got into the building, it brought them joy to know they had access to all the resources they need!”

See It, Read It, Learn It
Funded Feb 22, 2024Students waited eagerly to receive the weather station, charts and other much needed resources for our class. Because of you, hands-on learning can take place in a comfortable, print-rich environment. Students anticipate providing updates about the weather each day. The are more aware of what is going on in the atmosphere and how changes in the weather can be predicted based on the data they collect each day.
Students who struggle with learning about ecosystems and properties of matter now have the opportunity to interact with printed science-related materials that supplement what they learn inside the classroom.
Thank you so much for investing in our class and our students!”

Mrs. Clarke
Up Up and Away!
Funded Oct 30, 2023My fifth graders and I are truly grateful for the outpouring of love that you showed through your generous donation of classroom supplies for our class.
Students are able to use the binder received to keep track of their notes and handouts and also track their learning. Additionally, students use their binders to house data sheets which shows a comparison of each major assessment they have completed.
Pencils are a precious commodity. It was great knowing that students could be ready for class even if they turned up without pencils. Using the microscope to look at decaying materials and cells also brought much enthusiasm and joy.
Our classroom is a great place to be and we are thankful that you played a big part in that!”

Mrs. Clarke
This classroom project was brought to life by Equitable Foundation.Operation Get Yo' Stuff!
Funded Apr 7, 2022My students and I are truly grateful for your show of love and support through your donations. The learning materials we received put a smile on all our faces and reminded us that there are people out there who truly care about and support public schools.
Many times students come to school without a notebook or pencil. These are simple tools that we sometimes take for granted; assuming that parents must be able to afford them. Students were able to receive notebooks, pencils, erasers etc. and they were very excited. Classroom supplies were used to complete projects and other classroom activities.
Thanks so much for your on-going support. My fifth graders were truly appreciative and wanted to express their gratitude.”

Funded Jan 25, 2022My fifth grade class and I are truly blessed and thankful for your generosity and thoughtfulness in funding our project 'Little Scientists'. I walked into the classroom holding the microscope that was one thing we requested. There we screams and shouts of excitement as I entered the room. My students were simply very excited that their science tools had finally arrived. This would allow them to learn more about cells and the weather. The weather unit is usually the most challenging part of the science curriculum and my students finally had the opportunity to see them, touch them and use them. The tools were received after I had already taught the unit but finally having the tools allowed them to make connections between what they were taught and what they were now seeing.
Because of your contribution and a lot of effort on my students' part, nineteen of my twenty five students were successful this year in their End of Grade Exams with all of them making growth. This is good stuff!
My fifth graders are now in middle school. I am happy for what is about to happen as my new set of fifth graders will have these tools as they explore their science lessons for the very first time.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Clarke
