Arts education is very important in the lives of young men and women. Theater education is especially important for English Language Learners. Through acting out scenes, memorizing, lines, through songs, and dances students are emerging in English language. Theater education is also very important for my students, because they have special needs. For my students with autism making eye contact with a partner on a stage, interacting with one another is a very important learning tool. The project is a one hour theater production. This is a story about a young girl whose cat is going missing during World War II.
