The light table and accessories will give my students the opportunity to explore and be creative in their environment. They will be able to explore the properties of color and light. The students will be able to build on their social, language, visual, math, and literacy skills/concepts. They will be allowed to do more hands-on activities as they explore. Because of the curriculum we use, the light table will foster more child directed as they are drawn to gentle glow the lights. There will be more interaction and peer related play among themselves during their time at the light table.
