• STEMing Into Science

  Funded Nov 29, 2022

  Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. With your help I was able to give my students the opportunity to experience new hands-on interactive activities that we could work on collaboratively. Students were able to work in stations and practice vocabulary and science concepts through task cards. Now, more than ever, students need the chance to not only continue to learn but also have fun while learning. Thank you again for helping to make this possible for a few more of our most needy and deserving students.”

• Kami to the Rescue

  Thank you foIr your donation and for allowing my students to continue to use Kami. My students were excited when I told them that our project had gotten funded. The renewal of Kami allowed my students to be able to receive their reading and writing accommodations while completing assignments online.

  This was especially beneficial for my bilingual students who are still grasping the English language. Kami allows students to use features such as speech to text and text to speech which help students learning English and my struggling students. Thank you again.❤️”

• There Is a Cricut in the Class 2!

  Thank you for your donation. With your generosity I was able to provide my students with materials to help their projects come to life.

  One such project was our literacy unit on character traits. We read and dissected fairy tales and legends, and then we used the Cricut to create a 3D model of the main character. My students got so ínvolved in their project that they couldn't wait to create more accessories and a background to their model. Every day they would ask me if we could try something else that they had looked up online. Without a doubt, your donation helped spark that creativity. Thank you!”

• Let's Go With the Flow

  Thank you for your donation. Your generosity has allowed my students use Flocabulary to learn new concepts. As they viewed and sang along to the educational songs, they also learned new vocabulary. My struggling students and my bilingual students flourished with this additional vocabulary immersion. As they read, listened and sang along to the songs they felt more confident and would use this vocabulary in class during discussions. Their self esteem soon also increased as they felt more comfortable with their peers. Thank you again.❤️”

• There Is a Cricut in the Classroom!

  Thank you so much for your donation. My students were so excited when I told them that our project was funded.

  With your help my students were able to learn how to use a Cricut to enhance their projects.

  One of the projects they were able to work with was their science fair project.

  Their titles, data, and graphs were able to take on new life with the Cricut. Students enjoyed choosing different colors and designs for their project depending on the problem they solved with their investigation. Thank you again for all of your help.”

• Hooray!!!...You've Got Mail!

  Funded Mar 24, 2021

  Thank you for donating to my class. My students were so excited when the box arrived with their goodies. The earbuds allowed them to read and listen to books online independently and/or in pairs.

  The scented stickers were the highlight of the week after assessments. Students loved to receive them as prizes.

  Lastly, the envelopes were perfect to mail notes home. Students enjoyed receiving mail just for them at home and would often share that it was the only mail they had received.

• Wipe on and Wipe Off

  Thank you so much for the love and support you gave my class. They were so excited when the box arrived with the wipes.

  With your help we were able to wipe down our desks every morning after breakfast and every afternoon before we go home.

  Our class always looked and smelled clean too. The fresh smell was always so welcoming when we walked into the class and when we left for the day.

  Cleaning their desks/area also made my students more responsible and it encouraged them to keep their area organized as well.”
