  • Lets Read!

    Funded Aug 22, 2023

My students and I greatly appreciate your generous donation. The area reading rug you kindly and generously contributed to, has brought warmth and a cozy feeling to our reading nook. Having a designated cozy area to read alone or to a friend has greatly impacted reading by encouraging them and building a love for literature.

We also have benefited from an area rug by having a small area for a group of students to gather daily for blending activities.

Thank you again for your contribution to our reading progress and success.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Raigoza

  • Excited for Learning

    Funded Oct 22, 2021

Thank you for your generous contribution in supporting our class project. The materials and supplies have made a great impact on our learning and being able to provide differentiation.

Having an organized classroom ready for learning and group rotation has made a tremendous difference in our learning. Everything organized and orderly, based on their academic level, has made a great impact. I'm now able to have small groups of students rotate through all of the different subjects. Students Know where to go and what to do while I confernence with other students.

It not only has created a positive and organized learning environment but also has had a positive impact class management which is vital to having a classroom run smoothly. It has kept everyone on task and made them more successful in applying their learning

We are working on improving our writing through Writer's Workshop model. It is amazing to see how much having post its, colored pens and organized material and books has helped classroom management. We are excited to keep on learning and improving. Thank you again!!”

  • I Can See You!

    Funded Mar 13, 2021

Thank you for your kindness and generous donations. This past year and a half has been difficult for students and teachers to say the least. Your donation made teaching and learning a bit easier. Having two screens facilitating group teaching and assessing so much less stressful . I was able to have breakout rooms and without having to keep switing from room to room. Having both screens not only facilitated teaching but also it facilitated helping students with their learning simultaneously.

Also having digital lessons already made, by teachers , to project for two groups at one time made my job so much eacher and learning fun for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Raigoza

  • Learning Success!

    Funded Oct 9, 2020

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your thoughtful and generous donations. My students and I are beyond grateful for this kind and thoughtful gesture during these challenging and trying times.

Distant teaching and learning have been beyond challenging, to say the least, for all parties! Therefore ,any resource that can help make learning more interesting helps keep students engaged and learning.

Initially I struggled, and even my students became frustrated, as we could not clearly hear each other. Having the headphones has made connection clear and muffles outside noise/distractions. There are many resources online to teach but nothing like being able to project a resources/worksheet that has been possible due to the digital camera.

Thank you again for making us happy learners!”

  • Express Yourself!

    Funded May 21, 2020

My students are extrememly excited and grateful for the supplies. During this pandemic, there is a lot that is difficult for them to fully comprehend and process. Now that school is coming to an end, these resosurces will provide the creative outlet they need.

They will be able to journal and draw using the various mediums as a away of expressing their creativity and even a frustrations in a positive manner.

For many, their parents have gone back to work, but they will not be able to physically attend summer art programs, see their friends or get out and about. These resources will provide the fun they need at home to spend their time in a posive manner.

Thank you for making this possible for my students!”

    Funded Dec 30, 2019

Thank you so much for you thoughtful generosity. My students are benefiting tremendously from all the resources your donations made possible.

We are able to have daily math and language arts rotations that address skills at their level.

Students are able to use math manipulative to help them make arrays to assist them in learning how to multiply and count .

They are able to practice their reading fluency daily by timing themselves or their partners.

Thank you again for helping my class as they prepare to be the future of tomorrow.”

  • Physical Education

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

Thank you for your generous donation that made this project possible. Without your help this would not bee possible! My students were so happy to see all the Physical Education equipment that we received and have even shared other classes tell them they "are lucky"!

We have started a circuit of exercises using the equipment twice a week. This has made physical education a fun time for my class. On the third day of PE, we have learned how to play softball which is adding to building their endurance while having fun.

    Thank you again!”

Although my students are eager to learn, they are faced with academic gaps in their basic reading fluency, reading comprehension, essay writing, and mathematical skills. My hope is to have all materials organized by their reading level and skills needs/ so that they can easily find/access and take ownership of their learning. This in turn will help them improve in the core subjects and specific areas of deficit. It is my hope that by having resources organized by their specific needs, strategically modeling of skills , and having materials easily accessible to them will all in turn help them to improve.
