These materials will make a huge difference in the learning experience of my art students. By providing our classroom with painting and sculpting supplies, my students will get to experience the well rounded arts education that they deserve. Painting and sculpting projects are by far the most requested among my art students. At the beginning of each new year, I always hear the questions, "Will we get to paint?" and "Will we get to use clay?". Help me to answer my students with a confident "Yes!" to this commonly asked question. I love getting to experience the reactions of my students when they are introduced to the wonderful world of watercolor painting. As the colors of the paint move from their brush to the paper, their eyes light up with wonder and excitement! Some of them can hardly contain themselves once the vibrant colors start to move across their paper. As they experiment with the process, their confidence grows. Many students never have the opportunity to create with clay, but this too is an experience that I do not want my students to miss out on. When sculpting with clay, students are taking a trip back in time to learn about the masters. like Michelangelo, through the creative process. Unfortunately, my classroom is not an ideal setting for a kiln, so the air dry clay from Crayola is the perfect alternative for my students.
