My students were thrilled when they saw the supplies arrive at our art studio. One material that my upper-grade students (3rd, 4th, 5th grade) liked using was the canva-paper. They had never seen it before. I have taught my students that artists experiment with their materials and my students enjoyed testing out paints on the paper. With it, they created art work that was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers." They were excited by the final product and were proud of their accomplishment. Meanwhile, my lower grade students (Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd) liked using the markers the most. They loved the variety of colors and how bright the colors were. We used the makers to create Valentine's Day themed heart collages.

Currently we are studying the work of Henri Matisse. My students will create collages using the glue and colorful papers. They are looking forward to piecing together a new creation. We want to thank you for your contribution. Because of it, my students will continue creating artwork that expresses their unique perspectives and reflects what they have learned about famous artists.”
