  • Asian Games in an American School!!!

    Thank you for your generous donation to the Asian Cultural Club at MS 158Q. We have been using these supplies in our Outdoor Olympics and Asian Game sessions. Students were so impressed and thankful that there are kind and generous people out there to help us improve our school activities. Students had lots of fun playing badminton, running relay using the batons, and tug-of-war. We have been using these materials to help students release their stress and anxiety after their hard working academic day.”

  • Help Kids Improve Their Math Grades!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation of 20 TI-34 calculators to my classes in January. All of my students are grateful to have the appropriate calculators to use in class to help them increase their confidence level and their math grades. With the help of the calculators, they don't have to be stressed about the computational part of the problem but can focus more on the comprehension part of the problem. 75% of my students showed improvement in their last test grades. About 30% of the students start showing interest in learning new topics in math class. Thank you for making a difference in their lives.”

I would like students to spend more time understanding a math word problem and decide what operations they need to perform in order to get the correct answer. I don't want to see them struggle in the computational part of the problem and get the wrong answer. A class set of TI-34 calculators can be a great tool for them to improve their math grades and build their confidence level. They can use these calculators in class for classwork, quizzes, projects, and tests. Even for students who are strong in computational skills, they can use the calculators to double check their answers.
