I learn best with iPads!
Funded Oct 30, 2024Thank you so incredibly much for your contribution towards this project. I am so happy that this project has been fully funded. Now that all materials have been delivered, we have been able to get our new iPad set up for use in the classroom. This is one set to closer to getting our classroom 1:1 with technology. We now have 10 chrome books and 3 iPads total in my classroom of 26 students. This would not have been possible without you! Thank you for helping to create meaningful and real-world learning opportunities for my students through technology.”

Teaching Supporting Teachers
Funded Oct 23, 2024Thank you again for your contribution to this project! I am so happy that it was fully funded. Your donation will support students for many years to come as resources are used again and again.
So far, I have been able to purchase supplemental materials for science to record our investigations and thinking. The resource I purchased was created by another teacher, so this project supported that teacher as well as myself! I will continue to use the funding for this project to purchase high quality, engaging materials that will benefit all students.”

Set Up for Success!
Funded Sep 5, 2024Now that all materials have arrived and the school year is up and running, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you so much for your generous contribution towards our project! Providing all students with equal opportunities to succeed is so important, and school supplies and materials for all is a great way to start.
All students in my class have a pencil pouch organized with tons of school supplies that we use throughout the day. Without this project and the donations provided, we would have been using Ziploc bags which often do need replaced throughout the year.
Thank you for making this possible!”

Ms. Shaw
Personalized and Interactive Learning Through iPads!
Funded Sep 5, 2024Now that all of our materials have arrived and we are up and running, I want to take the time to thank you again for your inspiring contributions towards this project. My students and I are better off now with a total of two iPads in our classroom. This helps make independent work more personalized and interactive for students. Struggling readers receive support that could not otherwise be given to them, and higher level mastery students are being challenged with creativity and innovation.
Thank you again for supporting teachers and educators around the country.”

Ms. Shaw

Funded Mar 13, 2024Thank you again for your generous donation to this project. All materials have arrived, and we got the chance to use them for the first time today! Students paired up during math small group time and battled with math 24 cards. Students were excited, on task, and motivated to learn.
We had indoor recess today due to the wind chill. Students got to set up and try out our new card game, connect 4, and trouble game. It was an exciting day for all.
Thank you again for your continued support! We are very thankful.”

5th Grade Novel Studies
Funded Nov 14, 2023As I unbox the final shipment of materials for this awesome project, I want to take a moment to thank you again for your generosity.
I am so excited about the three sets of chapter books I have received, because they range in reading levels and will be able to reach different groups of students. The One and Only Ivan is low readability, but high interest. Fish and a Tree is slightly more challenging, and Esperenza Rising will challenge my highest readers.
This project will reach 18 students at a time, and many students for years to com!
Thank you again,”

5th Grade is a Mystery!
Funded Sep 7, 2023My students and I thank you tremendously for supporting our classroom, and helping to make this project happen! Our books have arrived and our mystery genre bin is stacked, filled, and ready to be loved. The mystery books I selected have a wide variety of topics such as animals, sports, holidays, and more. These books will reach many students for many years to come.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! I am blown away by the public's support for public education. You help us make a difference!”

Graphic Novels Rule!
Funded Oct 12, 2023Thank you so incredibly much for your support towards this project! I am thrilled to announce that it has been fully funded. Materials have already started arriving, and our graphic novel book bin is filling up.
This project has already begun to help foster a love for reading and learning in my classroom. This is a love that I hope students will carry with them throughout their lives. I still think back fondly to books that I read in elementary school, and I hope students find "their book" that gives the same fond feelings for them.
Thank you again!”

Funded Jul 17, 2023Thank you for helping make my transition to fifth grade as smooth as possible. Feeling prepared with engaging and high quality resources helped me to feel confident on day 1. We are now four weeks into school, and I am getting into the groove of things. I am excited for my students to make major instructional gains from our district aligned materials and supplemental small group resources. Thank you so much for your commitment to the education of young people! You are so appreciated.
Thank you again!”

5th Grade Daily Quick Reads
Funded Aug 2, 2023Thank you again for your generous donations to this project. Your contribution has made my transition to a new grade level smoother. This project allowed me to purchase "Daily Quick Reads" for my 5th graders that is differentiated to their levels. This is an independent activity that students work on during guided reading group time. The cool thing about this resource is that each level focuses on the same skill and the same topic, so it can also be incorporated into whole group discussions. The questions and text complexity is what differs.
Thank you again for your kindness!”

Ms. Shaw
