  • Working Hard In Kindergarten

    Funded Nov 3, 2023

Thank you so much for my project! My students will benefit greatly from your generosity. By funding this class project you have giving my students a running start toward success. I will make sure and tell the class about their great supporters and how you believe in them. I am so excited to get started.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ross

This classroom project was brought to life by Nevada Department of Education.
  • The Backpack Bump

    Funded Oct 10, 2021

Thank you for making my class a bump free zone. My students can move freely without bumping into backpacks. We hang the backpacks on the top and bottom hooks. I placed two tubs on the bottom of the cart, one for lunches and one for paper that need to go home with the students.

The cart is placed on the carpet in the morning for loading and then moved to a safe coner in the classroom. The students don't return for their backpacks until the end of the day.

The backpack cart keeps things organized. Thank you again for your donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ross

  • Reading Is Fun!

    Funded Dec 28, 2019

Thank you so much for your support!

Because of your support my students will be allowed to take books home and explore the wonderful world of reading. I can't wait to see the looks on their little faces. When I pass out their book bags, I will take a picture and post it .”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ross

I believe good books make children want to read. My class library needs more books for students to read. Book that are on their level will help them feel successful. Many of my students do not have books at home to read. Although my school has electronic books online for at home use, books in a child's hand give them a great feeling when they can read them. This project is for the student who does not have technology at home. I plan to start a checkout log when I get enough books for everyone to check out. Questions will be sent home for mom and dad to check comprehension. Parent need to be a part of their child's learning, too. This will help us all work as a team to improve reading in our school.
