My students are full of energy and eager to learn, but that means they can also be fidgety! I have many students in my classroom who struggle with attention, have learning disabilities, have anxious energy, and just need to move in order to learn. My students' fidgeting is distracting to themselves, other students, and even me! My classroom is overcrowded and students don't get many opportunities to move. By providing my students with flexible seating options, they will be able move and release their anxious energy, improving their focus and attention. There will be less distractions and more learning in our classroom. I believe that flexible seating options will improve the overall mood and tone of our classroom community.
