My classroom library is an encouraging space for my students to read. Reading is not optional in my classroom! My students will utilize the gift of books to increase their knowledge and experience. These books will help my students meet their weekly, monthly and quarterly AR goals and the opportunity to win school wide rewards for meeting goals. Students will have a variety books to read which will contribute to increasing their ability to read and comprehend words independently and fluently. Once student assignments are completed, students will be able to choose a chosen book from the classroom library to read and enjoy. In return giving students another opportunity to build the capacity to meet reading goals. Reading is a subject which students need in order to master several subjects such as math, language, science and social studies.
