My students need to have access to calculators at my school to help level the playing field. I have some students who need accommodations for which calculators would help them prove their proficiency. I have some topics where calculators are a necessity and it would be wonderful to have my own set for my classroom instead of having to borrow calculators from other teachers, who also might need to use them in their own classes. The other teachers are wonderful in helping me out, but it would be easier on me and my wonderful students to have our own classroom set of calculators.
