Using Virtual Reality helps students explore the places and peoples we study. They can walk the paths at Jamestown and explore the geography and history as they bring it to life. Like most classrooms, my students come in all shapes, sizes, and struggles. VR allows students who are more visual and kinesthetic to explore and learn in the the way that benefits them the most. I have purchased several of the Homido Grab Lenses and they are easy and intuitive to use. To keep cost reasonable I will ask students to bring a device and I will ask parents to recycle used devices that are compatible. This will put this tech in the hands of all of the students in my class and in the other classes in my department. Thank you for your time and support, of my class or others you choose to donate to!
