These materials will start the foundation to an awesome literacy lab that is comfortable in an effort to promote reading among all scholars. I will convert an empty classroom into a bright, fun, and print rich environment that is conducive to success. This room will not only serve as an intervention room where I will be able to pull small groups for intentional lessons on targeted skills in which the scholars are not meeting mastery, it will also serve as a room where all the reading teachers will meet to plan differentiated interactive lessons to meet the needs of all learners. The setting will be inviting and comfortable for all the scholars on campus. The school-wide initiative is to promote the love for literacy. Readers are Lifelong Leaders!
