• Headphones for Centers

Having headphones for every student that cannot afford them is changing the way we do centers, students are able to focus on their technology and the students around them are not distracted by the sounds coming from iPads so our centers are much more productive! • Let's Learn!

  My students are in love with their new resources, especially all of the phonics resources!! I use them in my small groups and centers and they are the best ways to practice phonics skills while also having fun. Their eyes light up every time I pull them out! I can't wait to continue to use them for years to come.

  Some of the next steps for my classroom are to get more flexible seating! I have many students that have special needs and cannot sit in traditional chairs for long periods of time, and I'm excited to provide this for them!”

• Reading Isn't All Fun and Games!

  This was the first project I ever made on Donor's Choose and it was so impactful for my classroom and my students. When we got the box and opened it up with everyone, my students were so excited! They acted like it was Christmas morning. They got to play all these great games and puzzles instead of doing worksheets and they were genuinely so happy. I can't wait to use them for years to come!

  My next project is going to be to get flexible seating for my classroom! I'm excited to continue working with Donors Choose!”

• Magic Manipulatives

  My students are LOVING their manipulatives. Teaching difficult math concepts has become a breeze, and so much fun for the kids. Difficult concepts like addition, subtraction and regrouping have become much more tangible to them! My small group table is the highlight of the day, especially with the teddy bears! When they first saw the new materials they acted like a kid in a candy shop, they wanted to touch and play with it all! I am so excited to continue providing them with concrete math manipulatives and giving them the opportunity to work as a team to solve problems in a fun way. Thank you so much for being a champion for my students!”

• Back to the Basics

  Thank you so much for your kind donations toward new materials for my classroom! My students work so hard for me everyday, I am so happy to give them something fun so they can play as hard as they work! We use them every day, especially the ELA games! They are my students favorite thing to be able to do after centers. They love the puzzles the most! They will even play them when we have indoor recess they love them so much! They were so excited when we received our box, it was like Christmas for them. I am excited to continue adding ELA and Math resources to our classroom!”
