Beginning of a Bright New Year!
Funded Aug 14, 2024My students love the new cabinet to do their morning work on for other students to see how to work out the problems. It is so nice to have the cabinet in order for the document camera to sit on so the students can use it daily. The easels make it so much easier for the students to use their chromebooks on in order to type and find information for their research projects.
The students love the POST-IT Note pads that we use for daily writing activities, and the Mr. Sketch markers that smell so good when they are writing down key points and sharing their information with the class.
The new books that were bought for the class at the beginning of the year was a huge success. The students learned about empathy, kindness, respect, and responsibility. The books were engaging and the students absolutely loved them. Thank you so much for the donations to the classroom. The students have truly enjoyed everything that was donated to them.
Thank you so much to the donors and the Gates Foundation that doubled the donations in order for my project to get funded, and for my students to receive the best gifts possible for an awesome school year!!”

Funded May 7, 2024My students have already begun using the new resources they received for our classroom. The mechanical pencils and the regular #2 pencils come in handy for regular classroom activities and small group lessons. The new pencil sharpener allows the student who has the job of sharpening pencils for the day to do their job properly.
The two behavior chairs has helped tremendously. All the students want to earn the privilege to sit in the chair for the day. Students are also earning prizes for good behavior or for doing well on their tests. I am so thankful for these items that were donated to my classroom. They have helped with classroom organization and behavior. Thank you again for your support and kindness.”

Springing Into The New Year!
Funded Sep 27, 2023The students are loving the new resources for the classroom. They have multiplication flash cards made from the cardstock which was donated to the classroom. The student's are using and studying the cards daily. They love the vibrant, bright colors. They have been super excited to used the cardstock for the multiplication cards. It has helped them with their memorization skills and they love the fact that they can take the cards home and back to school on a daily basis.
The students also love the use of the electric pencil sharpener. They are given jobs on a daily basis and one job is to sharpen pencils that are put in the container labeled, "needs sharpened." Being able to sharpen pencils for their classmates, and themselves builds responsibility and respect for one another.
The label maker allows students to label items that are theirs. It also is important because we can label items around the room for math and reading stations. It is a great asset to the room.
Thank you so much for your donations. It has made a great impact on myself and my students. We really do appreciate your generosity and kindness.”

Funded Dec 23, 2022My students are loving every moment that they get to use their new white boards to do math problems on. The students use the boards in whole group lessons, and also in small group lessons. They store them nicely in the new storage container. The headphones are used daily for when they are on Reflex and Iready lessons.
In small group the soft foam dice are used when the students play the Multiplication Game against each other. They have to roll dice and then multiply and find their answers on a board and the first one to get five in a row wins.
The students have taken pride in receiving the new materials for the classroom. They are grateful to the donors who help achieve the goal and get the new items. It has allowed the students to work at their own pace using the boards.
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness gift.”

Crush Math and Science

They earned an ice cream sundae party for memorizing and reciting their facts. The students tested each other, took the cards home to study, studied them in class, and the teacher also tested them to see what they have learned.
