With a classroom full of learners that want more knowledge, I want to have all the supplies to help them receive it. I have a classroom full of computers but only about 3 headphones. My students are consistently learning while on technology. We use Nearpod, Spelling City, Microsoft Teams, and so much more. I've found that there are more than a few of my students that desperately need headphones. Having headphones allows all students to work independently during differentiated instructional times. In these times they can listen to stories, instructional videos, and explore autonomously! What these headphones will give my classroom is a better sense of choice. The ability to make choices in class helps students develop ownership of their learning.
