The items I have selected will be used in my classroom to help our students succeed at developing their fine motor skills. Many of the kids in my class meet with occupational therapist to to three times a week to develop fine motor skills for things that we do every day. These items will challenge children to use their fine motor skills, and also help develop this area of cognitive development in their brain. In my classroom currently I do not have enough fine motor skills development material. I think to add more ways in which theses skills are develop would be very beneficial to the children and offer them a variety of ways to a concept that is difficult it essential for their life.
