These books will teach my kids about famous Hispanic people whom have done amazing things in their lives. I want my students to learn more about famous Latino people and to write about what they have learned about these famous people in Spanish. My project is to promote reading and to expand their vocabulary in the Spanish language. After students read these books they will be encouraged to write a small story in which they will discuss with their fellow classmates what they have learned from their assigned reading. The books in this collection will guide our classroom meeting discussions about diversity and learning about Hispanic heritage.
