With all of the COVID-19 precautions we've had to take, one of the biggest struggles I've personally had is keeping supplies sanitized and easily accessible. The first items on this list are storage boxes so that each of my students can have their own box, easily stackable on the shelves, with some basic supplies in each one (pens, pencils, erasers).
I want to shift my classroom into a flexible seating model, to increase student's engagement and comfort during class time. Though my students work hard, staying focused in a math classroom for 90 solid minutes is difficult. I want to make my room a more comfortable place for each of them and offer different seating styles since each of my students have different preferences.
