There are approximately 45 students within our Early Learning Center. 30 of these students are four-year-old's within our 4K program, the remaining 15 students are three-year-old's who attend our special education Early Childhood program in the afternoon. Within our Early Learning Center, we strive to make learning fun! In order for students to be motivated to learn, teachers must use multiple modes of teaching to ensure that all students can access the curriculum being taught. Research shows us that all children do not learn in the same manner. Therefore, multi-sensory approaches to teaching each lesson are paramount. A working projector also allows teachers to present material in a manner that makes children active participants in the learning process. Motivating lessons also reduce the need to utilize behavior management strategies. A working projector paired with an energetic teacher brings about an excitement for learning that will be built upon in all future endeavors.
