My Project The Air Conditioner Unit will be used to help cool down the temperature of the classroom during the summer months. Students will be able to come into a temperature-controlled room and focus on learning, not distracted by the heat of the classroom. Research shows that when classrooms get too hot, students do not learn as well as they would with comfortable temperatures. There is a correlation between a temperature-controlled classroom and academic achievement. Students can put their energy into learning instead of finding ways to stay cool while in school. They can remain engaged throughout the entire class period. They will help increase their academic performance because they won't have heat to contend with. Because my students have outside struggles, I don't think the temperature of the classroom should be one of them.
