My students discover the world differently than others. Fostering the senses to understand the things around them, and creating an environment rich with good sensory input is exactly what my students deserve. Allowing students a break at times will yield better focus and allow them the input their body needs to be successful. This sensory space will play an important role in our classroom success. The sensory space will be built into our daily center rotation, we will also use the space as my students' bodies need it. The space should feel inviting and give the students the will to complete other difficult or unwanted task. When given the opportunity to decompress before and after completing assignments.
