  • Help Us Get Ready for Art Class

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! The year has been off to a great start! The students love using their new supplies in class. Each day when they come to school, they are met with a bright, colorful classroom that invites them into a brand-new day. This brings a great deal of comfort to their lives. School is their home away from home, so when children have what they need, they feel safe.

Your kindness means so much to me and my students. When they hear that someone has donated materials to them and their class, they see how good people are, and how important it is to be kind.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Marley

  • Help Give Us a Colorful Classroom

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. The students love coming in and seeing all of the bright, beautiful colors that greet them!

My students absolutely love the new stools and all of the new rainbow borders in our classroom. They love seeing their work hanging up on display. It gives them such a feeling of pride. Seeing my students happy and excited to learn new things is what makes my day. I try to change up the decor in the room so the students are surprised to see the new bulletin boards and displays. Thank you!”

  • Help Us Clean & Organize Our Classroom

    Funded Jun 8, 2022

Thank you so much for the storage drawers and cleaning materials. The students love having independence in the classroom. They look forward to being able to sort and organize their own work once they have completed a project. They take so much pride in their work and try their best each day.

With your donation, the students will have drawers to organize their projects by class, which will be easier for them to access. After working, the students love to clean up their work area independently to have it ready for the next group of students to come in. We all appreciate your kindness and generosity.”

  • Keep Us Healthy

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation! Because of you, we are able to keep our classroom clean and smelling fresh each day.

As soon as we walk in the room, we are welcomed with a nice, clean smell. When everything is clean and disinfected, the students know they are in an environment that is safe for them to work in and feel comfortable. The students in each class are happy to clean up after themselves and get the room ready for the next group of students.

Your generosity is truly appreciated, and we appreciate you helping us stay healthy this school year!”

  • Help Us Print Our Work

    Funded Jan 19, 2022

I can't thank you enough for your donation to our classroom. As an Art teacher, providing my students with beautiful Art posters and examples from artists has been so helpful. I have been able to print materials that the students can pass around and share. Having this color printer and being able to print actual examples of famous works of art is so exciting to the students. They discuss what they notice and wonder about the art, which is also so amazing to hear!

I hope you know how much your generosity means to us, and how much we appreciate you donating to our classroom. Without your help, the Art room would be a lot less colorful! Thanks to you, we have bright posters and art work greeting us each day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Marley

  • We Need Books About Diversity, Kindness, & Inclusion

    Funded Sep 10, 2021

I can't thank you enough for your donation of these special books to our classroom. When the boxes arrived, we were so excited to open them up and find such beautiful hard-cover books inside. All of the teachers in my school have been focusing on our social-emotional curriculum for some time now, but these books have been a HUGE addition to it! I was thrilled to tell my colleagues about your donation, and I have been so happy to share the books with them and their classes.

In my classroom, the students look through the books to not only read the words and learn the important messages they share, but also to appreciate the art and illustrations. How important it is for children to see characters in books that look like them, their friends, and members of their own families! These books share such important messages that are so needed at this point in their lives as they learn and grow.

I have found that all of my students, from Pre-K to second grade, are truly engaged while listening to these stories and looking at the illustrations. The topics of diversity, inclusion and kindness are focused on throughout the entire school year, and these special books will continued to be shared and enjoyed for years to come thanks to you!”

  • Help Us Learn Remotely!

    Funded Dec 25, 2020

I can't thank you enough for your generosity and help in making this year such a success for my students. The Teachers-Pay-Teachers gift cards have been so helpful in finding activities and tasks that my students have enjoyed both remotely and in person.

This year I moved up with my second grade class to third grade, and I wanted to find activities that would be fresh and engaging for them. I teach in an ICT class with 3 in-person students and 27 remote students. My co-teacher and I live stream our lessons so everyone can participate together. To start the year we used a teacher's "Remote Classroom Expectations" slides that we continue to refer to. They are colorful and easy for the students to understand.

When teaching a concept like Summarizing, or Finding the Main Idea, the Teachers-Pay-Teachers slides are so helpful in explaining and giving students examples to follow. When the students see these color-filled slides, they are so engaged, and we find that they participate more than when just plain slides are posted. Finding and using these slides is such a time-saver for me, and I greatly appreciate that I am not always "recreating the wheel!"

As we approach the end of the year, I am looking forward to finding fun activities to reward my students for all of their hard work. They have persevered through a very difficult time, and I want them to know how much I appreciate them and care about them. The Teacher-Pay-Teachers gift cards will enable me to give them fun end of year activities and tasks they can use all summer long. I really appreciate your help.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Marley

In such a difficult time, we want our students to know that we are here for them, and they are always in our thoughts. With this computer, I will be able to access materials and apps that will help me continue our daily communication. While we may not be in our classroom, but we want them to know that we will always be here for them, even when the school year ends. Second grade is a year where so much learning and growing takes place. We want, more than anything, for our little ones to feel loved and cared for. What else tells them this more than our daily meetings and interaction?
