Help the Library Build a Makerspace
Funded Mar 25, 2025I want to extend my deepest gratitude to you for your generous donation toward our STEM makerspace project for the library. Thanks to your support, we've been able to create a dynamic space that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning for our students.
The tactile items and buildable materials you helped provide are already making a significant impact. Students are excited to explore, experiment, and collaborate on a wide range of projects, from engineering challenges to design and construction activities. The hands-on nature of these resources allows students to engage in learning like never before, developing problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of STEM concepts.
Your contribution is helping to cultivate the innovators and thinkers of tomorrow, and I am incredibly grateful for your belief in the power of active, hands-on learning. It’s not just about the materials—it's about the opportunities you're giving our students to think critically, collaborate, and build confidence in their abilities.”

Help Bring Engaging and Diverse Books to Our Library
Funded Mar 25, 2025I am writing to extend my sincerest thanks to you for your generous contribution to my book project on DonorsChoose. Thanks to your support, I’ve been able to bring a collection of diverse and meaningful books into my classroom, enriching the learning experience for all my students.
Each book is not just a story or an educational resource, but a gateway to new perspectives, cultures, and ideas. With your help, my students now have access to voices and narratives they might not have encountered otherwise. The impact is immeasurable—my students are now more engaged, empathetic, and eager to learn about the world around them.
I want you to know that your donation has made a real difference, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness and belief in the power of diverse literature to shape young minds. The joy and excitement on my students’ faces when they opened their new books was priceless, and I owe that to you.”

Help Give Great Books for Great Students
Funded Dec 4, 2024I cannot thank you enough for your incredible support in providing books for our school library. Because of your generosity, our students—both primary and secondary—now have access to a diverse collection of engaging literature, including beautifully illustrated books, graphic novels, and visually rich resources that spark imagination and foster a love of reading.
For many of my students, books are a gateway to new worlds, ideas, and possibilities. The addition of picture books for younger readers has helped build foundational literacy skills while making reading an exciting adventure. Meanwhile, the graphic novels have captivated older students, including reluctant readers who now eagerly visit the library to explore new stories.
One of the most rewarding moments was seeing a student who had never shown much interest in reading pick up a graphic novel and finish it in one sitting. Seeing the excitement on their face and hearing them ask for more books like it was a true testament to the impact of your donation.
Your generosity has not only expanded our library collection but also nurtured a culture of reading that will benefit our students for years to come. Thank you for believing in the power of books and for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of our young readers.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Englert

Funded Jan 16, 2025On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous support of our STEM project, which also included sensory items. Your kindness and commitment to education have made a lasting impact on our classroom and the lives of my students.
Thanks to your donation, my students now have access to hands-on STEM learning experiences that engage their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The addition of sensory items has been especially meaningful, allowing all learners—especially those with sensory processing challenges—to feel included and comfortable as they explore new concepts. Whether it's through tactile materials, calming tools, or interactive STEM kits, these resources have transformed our learning environment into a place where every student can thrive.
One of the most heartwarming moments since receiving your donation was seeing a student who usually struggles with focus become fully engaged in a STEM activity using sensory-friendly tools. His excitement and confidence grew, and he was able to collaborate with his peers in a way that had been challenging before. Your generosity made that possible.
Your support goes beyond just providing materials; it gives my students the opportunity to dream big, build resilience, and develop a love for learning. Thank you for believing in the power of education and for making a real difference in the lives of these young learners.”

Mr. Englert
Help Provide Stem Activities in the Library!
Funded Nov 13, 2024I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our STEM project, which provided our classroom with an amazing array of materials, including Marble Run builds, Hot Wheels, Litebox builds, Infinity Cubes, and LCD writing tablets. These resources have had an extraordinary impact on our students' learning experiences, helping to ignite their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The Marble Run builds have been particularly popular, allowing students to experiment with engineering and physics as they create their own marble courses and test them for speed and efficiency. The Hot Wheels sets have sparked imagination as students design intricate tracks and explore concepts of motion and force. The Litebox builds have been a wonderful tool for students to engage in pattern creation and spatial reasoning. Additionally, the Infinity Cubes have provided a fun and tactile way for students to focus and develop fine motor skills, while the LCD writing tablets have encouraged them to practice their ideas, create designs, and solve problems without the need for paper.
Thanks to these materials, our students have been able to engage in hands-on learning, building both their academic skills and their confidence. The interactive nature of these tools has fostered a deeper interest in STEM fields and has provided countless opportunities for students to explore their creativity and work collaboratively. We are incredibly grateful for your support in enhancing our students' educational experience, and we look forward to continuing to use these materials to inspire future innovation.”

Funded May 24, 2024Thank you very much for your thoughtful and considerate donation. These STEM activities have made children so happy. Kiddos have commented that the makerspace is fire! Teachers have thanked me and told me that the library is really turned around. I have heard comments from family members as well as administration in the building. The library is the heart of the school and it has been revitalized through these thoughtful projects targeted at high interest STEM activities and sponsored by you!
Students are eager to come to the library and disappointed if they ever miss a visit due to scheduling or the like. The library is able to get STEM activities into children's hands that they love and care about. This has shown them the importance of reading and has made a big wave. The children are thrilled are reading more and it is easier for classroom teachers to get students to read during the day.
As children are learning more, their love of STEM has increased. Students are able to develop an independent goal setting surrounding exploring STEM. Students are proud of the makerspace and that they get to explore a diverse library space.”
