  • Laminating Sheets for All

    Thank you very much for your donations.

    The impact that the laminating sheets had on my students was and still is great.

    I had laminated all my questions of the week of all my studies. They look store-bought and the best part is that I will be able to re-use them for many years to come.

    My students have benefited from the laminating sheets by enjoying continuous activities such as; alphabet, numbers, study concentration games, dressing people for the Clothes Study, and construction workers for our Building Study. They always look forward to new activities, and I will continue to provide more with all of your wonderful donations.”

  • PreK Explorers!

    First of all. thank you very much for your generosity in funding my project.

    I was able to share my screen with my students when we were on zoom. Being able to see their expressions while they were responding to questions during a learning discussion was priceless. They were be excited to see their names on the screen as well as their responses.

    The firs time that I shared the laptop with them they were screaming and shouting for happiness. One of my students said' Ms. Nunez, we are going to see you and your fun projects and my work". My parents were super excited too. My assistant said, Finally you got it. I was very excited as well because I did not loose contact with them.

    Now we are in school, and I use my laptop daily with my students. It is great to have reliable technology at the tip of my fingers. Thank you again to all the wonderful donors.”

  • Enthusiastic Distance Learning

    Thank you very much for your generosity!

    I waited for a long time to get my computer, It was sent, then returned back> We lost track of it but finally I got it. I feel that the time was worth waiting for. I was very enthusiastic when I got it.

    The impact on my students has been great. With the new computer, I have been able to do all my lessons and share the screen with no interruptions. The best part is that when I share the screen, I am able to see the children's faces, Their expressions are priceless. I am able to see who is participating, who is interested, who needs extra help and support.

    The children were very happy to see me when I shared the screen. Some of them said," Ms. Nunez we can see you. We are happy to see the lesson." My parents were very happy too. Once again, thank you to all the donors for your generosity and support”

I have learned that conference platforms and online resources are now a need in our education. However, these tools function best when utilizing current technology. A laptop will enhance our learning experience as we build our virtual classroom community. This device is an essential tool to help me plan, share, and teach during distance learning. Access to a laptop will allow me to create and deliver more engaging distance learning lessons and maintain communication with families and colleagues. I will be able to readily access resources and conduct ZOOM meetings with students and colleagues without any interruption. Your contribution to our project will help us stay connected during distance learning and enrich our classroom technology when we return to our classroom.

About my class
