My students deserve to have the very best graduation experience. I want them to know how significant the milestone of moving on to first grade is. By providing the materials I selected they will be able to see how important they are in spite of our current situation. By providing these materials my students will know they are valued and celebrated by myself and their families. First, they will wear the Graduation cap during our virtual graduation. Second, the book, "Maybe: A Story About the Endless Potential in All of Us" inspires wonder and self-belief which is something I try to instill in my students. I want to leave an indelible belief that nothing is out of reach for them. This book will be a keepsake for them which they can share with their siblings and possibly their own children one day. Lastly, Play-doh was the favorite activity during Choice Time. They used it to create animals, pizza, cookies and cupcakes. I also used it to form letters and numbers for some students that needed extra support. These materials will provide the message that we are still a classroom family with memories and growth that will continue after June 26th. Thank you in advance for your generosity and taking the time to consider my 2020 Kindergarten Graduation Project. Your donations will allow their virtual graduation to be a success and create excitement about becoming a 1st grader for each of the students in my class.
