People with dyslexia have different brain pathways that are used to learn to read. Unfortunately, these pathways are not as effective and efficient as the brain pathways in a non-dyslexic reader. While my students might be the lowest readers in the school, they work harder than anyone at learning to read. My students spend 60 minutes a day with me in an intensive intervention program. They struggle to sit still and maintain their focus. These balance ball chairs will be so helpful. Instead of the students tipping their chairs back or dancing and jumping around while trying to read and write, they will be able to softly bounce and move while doing their work.
