Funded Oct 18, 2022The students love the sensory dog. It helps them when they are upset or have anxiety. It also helps them stay focused and get sensory input.
They letters and numbers for the water are extremely helpful and useful for centers. Some students are on the lower end of the academic so seeing the picture of the word that starts with the letter is extremely useful. While others that are higher academically it helps them work on their spelling skills.
The sensory items for the floor or table are used in are calming corner where the students work through hard times in the class!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Doherty
