These materials will provide for an inviting atmosphere. I want to have the supplies necessary to differentiate my instruction. I would like for my students to have more opportunities to do hands-on learning for retention of knowledge. They have already expressed to me some personal concerns within the home environment that prompted me to provide something edible for them. Not only will these edibles be used as a necessity, but for motivation and reward. The needs of my students are very essential to the learning process and determining the motivating operation is essential to building trusted relationships between the student and the teacher. Having the materials that they need or want to work toward will be motivation in itself. This will allow me to have control based on their preferences.
