  • Help Second Graders Build Strong Handwriting Foundations!

    Once I showed the class their new handwriting notebooks, they immediately wanted to start handwriting practice. They wanted to take them home, practice during free time and just love the sentences and the different aspects of the workbook. This is also fun for my English language learners because it also allows them to complete the same activity when practicing learning their alphabet and basic words.

    In the workbook are fun reading and writing activities. They have a story writing prompt and the same writing lines that allows them a place to write their story but also practice their letter formation. Thank you so much!! The workbook are a hit with the students and myself!!”

  • Yoga Mats and Floor Seating for Our Classroom

    Funded Sep 27, 2024

    Our students look forward to using their floor cushions for our morning circle meetings. They each have a hook on their chair with their individual floor cushions. Each student also has their own yoga mat to use during calming movements throughout the day, which they find so exciting. During our online learning support, the cart holds all of their headphones and the other cart is able to hold the yoga mats and other SEL items we use in class. Our scholars are connected more to their school home.”

  • Sharing Is An Example of Good Citizenship..Also Easels or Art

    Funded Feb 16, 2023

    Our scholars are absolutely loving their art area. They couldn't wait for me to set the space up. The all sat on the rug and dove right into their sketch books. They each have sketch pencils, skin tone crayons, a pack of regular color crayons to create until their hearts desire. The notebook are for creative writing to hopefully go along with their drawings/sketches. We have a class mural happening. They are a graduating class, so they love the ability to collaborate artistically. We truly appreciate the donations, they are well loved.”
