We are learning aquaponics and how to create the full circle of a self sustainable garden. First the Student will grow vegetables in water using the waste of fish we raise as fertilizer. Our second phase will be to Compost waste from school aquaponics to feed black soldier flies. The final third phase of our stainable gardening we will complete the circle of sustainable gardening by feeding this high protein fly larva to the fish. Aquaponics is expected to be the way of future gardening. Who knows our kids may even be the generation to use this knowledge in space. Is the sky their limit?
