Thank you so much for providing my students with pencils. The teachers of the Lowell high school freshman academy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This will enable students to engage in important learning across all content areas for our second semester of school.

    You are appreciated, thank you!”

  • Learning About the Holocaust Through Historical Fiction

    Funded Dec 27, 2021

I want to thank you so much for the generous donation of books that you provided to my 7th grade students. They absolutely loved the book, and learned so much about the way that authors use the historical facts of the past in order to tell their stories.

In addition to learning about the Holocaust, students were able to make connections between past historical events and current events. Throughout the unit we discussed the connection between World War II and the War in the Ukraine. We talked a lot about how important it is to learn from the mistakes of past so that we do not repeat those mistakes in the future.

Finally, you made my job as a teacher easier by allowing each and every one of my students to each have their own book, which will be used again with a whole new group of students next year. Thank you again, from all of us at the Robinson Middle School in Lowell, MA.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Gobbi

  • Organization for Lifelong Success

    Funded Sep 9, 2021

I want to thank you so much for the generous gift of organizational folders that you bestowed upon my students. I have 75 students that I teach, and I was able to give every one of them a 5 pocket folder that they have been using to organize all of the work that they have for their academic classes.

7th grade is a pivotal year in a child's educational experience, wherein they are taught to become more organized and independent learners. These folders have allowed my students to take ownership and responsibility over their executive functioning skills, and have helped each of them to stay on track with their learning in all of their subjects.

Thank you again, from the entire 7th grade at The Robinson Middle School in Lowell, MA.

    Best,

    Andrea Heckstall”

  • Understanding our past to build an equitable future

    Funded Dec 22, 2020

Words can not describe the gratitude that my students feel for the generous donation of books that you made to them. This was the first week back at in-person learning for my students, and they were delighted to find brand new books at their desks on the first day.

My students have suffered on a number of levels this year during the pandemic, and were in desperate need of both the materials you provided, and the good vibes you sent their way through your generosity.

Thank you again, from the 7th grade at the Robinson Middle School!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Gobbi

My school district is still in "remote" teaching and learning mode, but I am excited to report that all of the awesome resources that you donated to keeping my classroom and my students healthy and safe are organized in my room, and ready for use once we are allowed back in school.

I also shared the supplies with the other teachers on my team so that they and their students can benefit from the supplies!

Thanks again for contributing to my students during this super challenging time in our country!

I hope you and your family are happy and well! Stay safe!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Gobbi

This table and chairs will create a space where I can conference with my students on their reading and writing in a small group space. Students engage in daily reading and writing tasks that aim to enhance their critical thinking and increase their literacy. In order to ensure that students are progressing in these areas it is imperative that they receive feedback from their teacher and from their peers. This table will allow for that to happen in a structured space. This furniture will also created the added benefit of teaching students how to collaborate with their teacher and peers: a skill that will translate well into their adult lives!
