Learning About the Holocaust Through Historical Fiction
Funded Dec 27, 2021I want to thank you so much for the generous donation of books that you provided to my 7th grade students. They absolutely loved the book, and learned so much about the way that authors use the historical facts of the past in order to tell their stories.
In addition to learning about the Holocaust, students were able to make connections between past historical events and current events. Throughout the unit we discussed the connection between World War II and the War in the Ukraine. We talked a lot about how important it is to learn from the mistakes of past so that we do not repeat those mistakes in the future.
Finally, you made my job as a teacher easier by allowing each and every one of my students to each have their own book, which will be used again with a whole new group of students next year. Thank you again, from all of us at the Robinson Middle School in Lowell, MA.”

Organization for Lifelong Success
Funded Sep 9, 2021I want to thank you so much for the generous gift of organizational folders that you bestowed upon my students. I have 75 students that I teach, and I was able to give every one of them a 5 pocket folder that they have been using to organize all of the work that they have for their academic classes.
7th grade is a pivotal year in a child's educational experience, wherein they are taught to become more organized and independent learners. These folders have allowed my students to take ownership and responsibility over their executive functioning skills, and have helped each of them to stay on track with their learning in all of their subjects.
Thank you again, from the entire 7th grade at The Robinson Middle School in Lowell, MA.
Best,
Andrea Heckstall”

Understanding our past to build an equitable future
Funded Dec 22, 2020Words can not describe the gratitude that my students feel for the generous donation of books that you made to them. This was the first week back at in-person learning for my students, and they were delighted to find brand new books at their desks on the first day.
My students have suffered on a number of levels this year during the pandemic, and were in desperate need of both the materials you provided, and the good vibes you sent their way through your generosity.
Thank you again, from the 7th grade at the Robinson Middle School!”
