  • Health Is Wealth!

    Funded May 11, 2023

    For my "health is wealth" project I asked for classroom art supplies. These have made it possible to separate kids from their phones and produce some physical work, both individually and as a group.

    For our first project they made infographics to inform others about different mental illnesses, conditions, and categories. It was nice to see them work together and not be so attached to their phones. I have attached a few of the finished products.

    In the future I look forward to continuing to use these materials for more projects and ways to decorate their learning environment”

  • Badminton Club!

    Funded May 9, 2023

    Thank you for your donations to my Badminton Club project on Donors Choose! Badminton Club is by far our largest club here at TBLS and with constant use, our equipment is often breaking.

    With your donations we are able to continue our club meetings and have as many children playing as we have space for! They love the opportunity to move their bodies after a long day of studying.

    When they saw the new equipment they were ecstatic! New birdies and rackets meant more games could be played by more students!

    We are looking forward to another great year of badminton club and hope to hold some tournaments in the future!”
