Every day, my students are learning new sounds and new words to add to their vocabulary. The way their faces light up, and the excitement they feel when they read a new book is enough to make anyone smile. The more access to books they have, the more their vocabulary and knowledge will grow. At this age, they feel such a sense of accomplishment after finishing a book. Right now, I don’t have enough books in my classroom library to keep them reading on a daily basis. They have already gone through and read all of the books I have. With the addition of these books, it will help to give them an endless supply to choose from to keep on reading! I can’t wait to see their faces when they walk in the room and see a new selection to choose from!
