I want my student to have choices about the chairs they sit on during the day. I believe ball chairs would give students a fun way to sit at their desk while being able to incorporate some movement. Giving students choices is very important to me. I love teaching at the rug, this experience is one of the best parts of teaching younger grades. I would love to have a carpet that would give each student a designated spot to sit. I have many students this year who struggle with personal space issues. Having their own special spot on the rug will help them learn personal boundaries and appropriate behavior while being taught away from their desks. Finally, I would like to offer my student some new books about social and emotional well being. My students love picture books!
