  • A Fun Science Class: Digital Microscopes, Science Stickers and More!

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

Thanks to your wonderful help, I have stickers and goodies to give kids on their birthdays, as rewards for good scores and for good behavior.

We also have a digital microscope which was been great to use with the smartboard to show slides to the entire class.

Students look forward to getting a sticker on their birthday and I am able to bring a smile to their faces- all thanks to your generosity.

I truly appreciate your help in this project and for continuing to help me to make my classroom an enriching and accommodating place for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Coppola

  • Science Lab Clean Up Time!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Although it is small, having a class swiffer and broom really does make a difference. I can keep the room clean, I can even empower students to help keep their classroom tidy. In fact, some kids even volunteer to sweep and swiffer the floor sometimes. Soil, sand, papers, you name it- in a science room messes definitely happen!

Thank you for your generous help, we have needed these supplies for quite some time and I'm thrilled that my room is fully stocked with cleaning supplies and tools. My kids are very grateful for all of your support towards our classroom.”

  • Another Year of Snacks

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students and I were so excited to get this project funded! Having snacks has been great for kids during their lunch period and after school. When I have kids stay to make up work there isn't a worry anymore about not having any food to eat or skipping lunch, as I can simply offer them a snack from our classroom pantry.

Kids need their basic needs met to be able to excel in school, and because of your help I have been able to make sure they have something to eat everyday and aren't distracted due to being hungry while in class.

Once again thank you so much for your generosity and for helping my students be successful this year.”

  • A Clean and Comfy Science Lab

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thanks to your support, we have been able to maintain a nice and clean classroom. When we have a spill or something breaks, it is no longer a hassle to have a kid go around the hall trying to find a broom and dustpan to clean it up.

That is saved time, more convenience, and more learning time. Class doesn't have to be thrown off due to a small mishap. I can also make my space more welcoming to kids each day!

Having a clean classroom helps to improve student learning, especially in science where messes and spills can happen. Again I am so grateful for all your help in bringing my project to life so that students can benefit and flourish this year.”

  • We Need Black Ink!

    Funded Jun 15, 2022

I am so happy we have black ink in our classroom printer again, therefore giving my student easy access to classroom handouts and materials. Sometimes when the copier is down, or a kid loses their handout, I can easily print out a new one or make a couple new copies to give out. Some of my students prefer paper copies of online readings and I can easily do this with the black ink, printing them a copy in minutes. It is amazing that I am able to have this privilege in the classroom and I am so grateful for all your help and support towards my students and I.”

  • Snacks for Growing Kids

    Funded Dec 15, 2021

Thank you so much for funding my project. It has been great having a classroom pantry to give students food during lunch. Many kids do not eat anything at school and I love being able to offer them a snack. Because of your generosity, I am able to even provide them with many different options. They are incredibly happy and grateful to have this available to them.

One day, there was a student who did not have breakfast at all and was so hungry, they set a timer until lunch when there would be something to eat. Having the pantry was great because I was able to give the student some fruit snacks and chips so they could focus on classwork and not just being hungry. No student should have to be distracted by hunger during their day.

Once again, I truly want to thank all of the donors who made this class pantry possible for me. My students have benefited so much and continue to do so.”

  • Classroom Basics for a Successful Year

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to decorate my classroom with plenty of awesome posters, my students have access to key supplies to complete their assignments, we have been able to disinfect the desks regularly in the age of COVID, and it has been phenomenal to provide my students with these supplies.

Additionally, having a stylus for our classroom iPad has been super valuable for notetaking and lesson planning. It truly elevates our classroom tech and once again this is all thanks to all your generosity towards my project.

Thank you once again for supporting my students, you truly have made a difference in my classroom!”

  • Engaging Students With an iPad!

    Funded May 3, 2021

Having an iPad has been amazing!! We can easily screenshare from it, I can walk around with it as I conference with kids, check google classroom, and even use it to write on diagrams to share while on zoom. Having the second device is invaluable to remote learning and in person as well. It truly is a game changer in the classroom. I am so excited for the other classroom possibilities with an iPad. All of this has been possible with your kind help and support. I am so grateful to all of you and I'm sure my students will be as well.”

  • Tissues and Paper Towels For Our Classroom

    Funded Oct 27, 2020

Having access to a small but well stocked supply of these materials has been great when the students are having lunch in the classroom- or breakfast. From melted ice cream mishaps to needing clean hands. I am also happy that when we do our hands on labs- whether it be this year, or next that supplies to clean off the desks will not be an issue. Once again thank you to all who supported my classroom and facilitated day to day teaching to make for the best student experience possible. I am so humbled by your generosity.”

  • Keeping Students Learning Safely

    Funded Sep 25, 2020

The PPE gear has been extremely helpful this year that we are back in person! Now we no longer have to worry about not having masks, tissues, hand sanitizer or paper towels. These small supplies truly make our lunch periods and in class activities a lot easier every day and it could not have happened without all of you and these supplies. Your generosity has brought some light into this turbulent year and I am so so grateful to you all! Thank you so much for your generosity for my students and I. It is much appreciated.”
