• Engaging ELLs in Science!

  Thank you so much for supporting my classroom with your generous gift. We have been using nearpod a lot in class to engage students during direct instruction. I was able to use the remaining funds to help supplement my classroom pantry so I can feed kids at lunch and after school.

  Nearpod has been a gamechanger because I can do quick assessments and gamify the class a bit to help break up what would otherwise be a teacher led powerpoint show on the board. I am so grateful to all of you for donating to my project!”

• What a Sight! Science Posters and Fun Specimens!

  My students and I were so happy to use the specimens from this project to bring science to life in our classroom. We cut planarians, plan to use the lactase towards the state lab in biology, we use our moon posters daily, and refer to the other science posters to enhance instruction.

• Staying Warm This Winter

  I am thrilled to be able to offer students gloves, hats and ramen on these cold days. Just the other day, after we brought the boxes upstairs, one of my students said she had needed gloves and was happy to choose a color she liked. My students are super thankful for your support and are looking forward to more lunch time cup noodle lunches for these cold days!”

• Another Year of Colorful Printing and Ink!

  When I got my printer thanks to this site years back I was thrilled. And once again you've helped continue my ability to provide resources to my students. I am so grateful for your support of my classroom. Thanks to you we can print wonderful copies on the spot for students who need an extra copy of something or a translated version.

  We have been able to print beautiful color photos to show concepts, Spanish copies of handouts for ELLs, diagrams and more.

• A Sanitized and Healthy Classroom Space

  Thanks to your generous donation I have been able to keep my classroom tidy for my students. As a science teacher we do a lot of hands on and messy work. Having tissues and wipes have been so valuable to clean up after an experiment or a spill. One such experience is when my students dissected earthworms and we were able to clean up the tables and materials easily with disinfectant spray and wipes so that the next class could have a clean space after a messy, but fun and engaging lab experience. • Headphones for Multimedia Learning

• Printed Handouts for Classroom Success!

  I am so grateful for your help in securing more ink for our classroom printer. We use this daily to print handouts, student work and more. It is such a valuable tool in our classroom and saves so much time daily. • Music to Our Ears: Help Us Replace Our Classroom Speaker!

  Thanks to your help we have a wonderful classroom speaker so I can play music/videos/presentations loudly enough for all students to hear. Even with the air conditioner blasting, students can still hear what I am playing loudly and clearly, without the static and noise of an overly loud smartboard.

  I am so grateful to have the speaker, when we do independent work and projects, I can put on some soft background lofi music which helps students concentrate, some students even request songs to work to. This contributes to a positive classroom culture and increases student engagement. Once again, thank you for your support of my students, this tool will be enriching for years to come.”

• Review Games for Vocabulary Building!

  Thanks to your generosity I could easily use quizzizz as a homework and study tool. I now have access to premium features like letting kids retake assignments for extra credit. I also use Blooket regularly for review and kids are super excited to use it.
