Science Olympiad competitions are a great way for students to learn hands on Science. The students are in a team of 2-3 and they learn about events like: genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. Through Science Olympiad, students, teachers, parents, and business leaders bond together and work toward a shared goal.
Teamwork is a required skill in most scientific careers today, and Science Olympiad encourages group learning by designing events that forge alliances.
The students are diverse and make up the 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They all are one big team. They are looking forward to going to regional Science Olympiad Competition is in March and State is in April.
