The rug and the bean bag chairs will be placed in our reading area. This will also serve as one of our centers that students are required to read a certain book. I ordered three chairs because my independent reading group is small. These students will read to each other and are required to answer questions about their reading when they move to their next center, which is writing. The reading area will also serve as a quiet area for those students who have finished their whole group lessons. The sea is a calming area so this area can also serve as a calming zone.
