Through these Lego kits, my students will be able to create and design their own sets which will enable their learning to come alive in a creative way. Our school places an emphasis on the environment and sustainable practices. My students will study and learn about ways to support our environment through researching and reading grade level appropriate material. They will then create sets using Lego bricks that will teach others how to care for our earth, its animals and our plants. They will then use technology (iPads) to take pictures of their designs and will turn them into an informational book. We will then take on leadership roles by partnering with a kindergarten class to share our digital books starring our Lego creations.
