My students have been learning so much! The dry erase mats are used in small groups to do math, this has cut down on a considerable amount of copies needed. They student love to practice addition, subtraction, and sight words with the fishing games. We have recently begun using the POP math game as well. The student have asked everyday to play. On Fridays we play sight-word bingo in small groups.
My student can't wait to play the games bought through the donations made by you. Each day they will ask, "what will we get to do today?"
My students will soon begin working on counting tens in Math. The magnetic tens frame will be used in teaching them.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Anonymous Supporter and 5 other donors.

The center activities and manipulatives will help to provide my students with an engaging way to learn. My students will be able to practice through hands-on activities. These products will help my class to find fun and excitement in learning new things through different experiences. Engaging lessons develop lifetime learners through new and exciting experiences. My students will be able to use the clocks, for example, to display various times while learning how to actually read an analog clock. Each day my students rotate through ELA and math centers. The sight word wooden fishing game will give my students a fun, engaging way to practice to improve their reading fluency. The short vowel game will be used to help students learn the short vowel sounds in order to sound out words that are unfamiliar to them while reading. Durning the math centers, the addition and subtraction wooden fishing will be used to help students to be able to quickly recall addition and subtraction facts. We will use the sheet protectors during our small groups to learn the day's lesson to simply cut down on have so much paper. I will be teaching math in a small group setting in order to have more one on one time with my students.
