We need a pencil sharpener so that pencils are ready for students at the beginning of each day to help us get our lessons off to a prepared and strong start. More books, please. My students are curious and they are eager to read. They are learning new reading skills. A greater selection of high-interest books means that they will have more books to choose from to practice fluency and reading comprehension. Students will have the opportunity to buddy read or read to self, make connections, and become stronger readers. Reading is a life-long adventure, and I want theirs to be meaningful. Thank you for considering this project.
