Because many of my students are Title I students, they do not have many resources or support at home, so having updated/current and rigorous novels for them to read from my classroom library would directly help their reading levels and trigger an interest in reading. I have strategically chosen newer novels with high-interest levels for middle schoolers to help foster their love of reading. We do a lot of independent reading in my class, and this would allow students who do not have the means to purchase their own copies, availability, and variety of interesting and grade-level novels. Help foster a love of reading in my middle school students!
