Knuepfer Class Library
Funded Jul 29, 2023It is amazing to see how well our classroom is running. I know that one thing that helps is how organized the room is. With the book shelves, we have been able to organize some of the supplies. Not only that, student's are in charge of this because the shelves are at their height!
So far, we have our STEAM bins being held on these shelves. This is something the students use every single day. So, students are using the shelves every single day. With the help of these shelves, students have the opportunity to keep their supplies organized. This is a skill that I want them to practice. If we want to use things, we must treat them with respect. One part of that is putting things away nicely. These shelves help the students do just that.
Thank you again!”

Listen to Our Readers!
Funded Sep 11, 2019I cannot describe how much this purchase has supported our classroom, however I will do my best. Over the past couple of years education has taken a huge shift into technology. Now, I do not feel that all education should take place on a computer. However, it is hard to fight having it in your room at all. So, this is where the need came in. I didn't want to just implement any type of technology. I wanted to make sure that what my students were doing was engaging and purposeful. With this gift I have been able to achieve that.
My students are able to use these headphones in a variety of different ways. We are using them usually during center time. That means that each student is rotating through different activities that are based on their specific goals and needs. Now, with the different curriculum we are using, and the other products I am using in my room, I have three different activities they are able to using the head phones with.
This means that each student is getting an education that is specified to them. I have already seen a growth in many of my students reading and writing skills. I cannot wait to see what else comes our way with these tools. Thank you again.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Knuepfer
