I work with a variety of students in my science classroom from honors and gifts to students who struggle with reading and writing. I am working on making my classroom more hands-on so that students can explore real-world challenges using science as a backdrop. Students are learning problem solving skills, group management skills, and critical thinking skills all while practice science as scientists do: by testing, observing, and sometimes making mistakes.
